Thank you for purchasing an art piece I know you will love. The pieces do require some easy care.
Since they are made of some materials that are fragile, hang or place them in areas where they will not be knocked or disturbed. If something does come loose, lay the piece flat and use a basic glue like Elmers to re-glue it in place. Let it dry overnight before rehanging.
The feathers and any wool are susceptible to moths and spiders. Once every six months, take the piece outside and spray the feathers and any wool fibers front and back with a moth protectant. Most hardware stores or groceries carry a spray for moths. Do not saturate the leather, but some moisture should not hurt it. Let it dry thoroughly before hanging it again.
Over time, the pieces will gather dust. Use a feather duster or soft rag to gently wipe it. You can wipe each protruding feather by hand always moving in the direction from base to tip! This will keep the feathers in their natural shape. Be careful dusting the beads inside the leather masks as they might come loose. If this happens, apply a tiny bit of simple clear glue to the spot where they go and gently put them back into place.
I hope you have many years of enjoyment from your art!
